Glass (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of users who access and utilize our software-as-a-service platform, associated websites, and software development kits (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy sets forth the manner in which we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

1. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to all users, subscribers, and visitors (“Users” or “you”) of the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described herein. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all use of the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

  • Name, email address, and other account registration data.
  • Payment information, billing addresses, and transaction history.

2.2 Usage Data and Session Recordings

  • Session recordings, clickstream data, and user interaction data captured through the Glass SDK (utilizing rrweb technology).
  • Log files, diagnostic data, and metadata concerning your use of the Services.

2.3 Technical Data

  • Device identifiers, browser type, operating system, IP addresses, and related technical information.

2.4 Customer Data

Data uploaded, stored, or otherwise processed by Users through the Services, which may include personal data of third parties. Users remain the data controllers for such Customer Data, and we process it solely as a data processor.

3. Basis for Processing

  • Performance of contractual obligations;
  • Compliance with legal obligations;
  • Legitimate business interests, such as improving the Services; and
  • Obtaining User consent, where required.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Provide technical support and respond to inquiries;
  • Analyze usage trends and enhance user experience; and
  • Comply with legal requirements and enforce our terms of service.

We do not sell or rent Users personal information.

5. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • To authorized third-party service providers (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers);
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business;
  • Where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process; and
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Glass, its Users, or the public.

All third-party recipients are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations no less protective than those set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Where personal data is transferred outside of the User's jurisdiction, such transfers shall be conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including implementation of appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined herein, unless a longer retention period is required by law or to protect our legitimate interests. Session recordings and analytics data are retained for a limited period (e.g., 60 days) before being deleted, unless anonymized or aggregated for ongoing use.

8. Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Despite these safeguards, no method of electronic transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information;
  • Objection to or restriction of processing;
  • Data portability; and
  • Withdrawal of consent (where applicable).

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete the information.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any material changes will be communicated by posting the revised version on our website with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
